Disney World

On Thursday, the boys and I left super early to head to Disney. We followed my friend, Theresa, her brother, sister-in-law, and two kids all the way to Florida. It was only a six hour trip so we were able to go to the Magic Kingdom for half of the day. I was very greatful that Theresa's brother, Pete and sister-in-law, Jenny were there to help out with the kids. We were able to ride a few rides and the kids had a blast. On Friday morning, we hung out by the hotel pool, the after nap time went to the Animal Kingdom for the safari. We were able to see the animals pretty close up, so it was fun. We then headed back to the Magic Kingdom and waited for Jeff and Theresa's husband to meet us. We were pretty happy to see them after two days by ourselves with the kids. Saturday morning we headed to the Disney Hollywood studios. The kids were excited to see all the characters from the cartoons that they like. Although, when they actually got up close, they were pretty scared. The characters are a lot bigger in person then on TV. We woke up Sunday morning to rain, so we took it slow getting ready hoping it would stop by the time we got to the Animal Kingdom. It finally stopped around 1 and we had a really good time on the safari and seeing all the animals. Overall, it was a really good trip and the kids had a lot of fun. Hopefully, we will try again in a few more years when they will actually be able to remember. John and Grace

The lolli pops weren't a very good idea.

Zoo

Sorry it's been so long since the last post. We really haven't been doing much. The weather has been so nice lately that we have been hanging out outside and going to the park. A few weeks ago, we went to a little zoo in this really small town. It is just a family run place, but is super cute and has a lot of tigers and lions. They even have a liger. Which is a cross between a tiger and lion. It looks like a lion with stripes. We invited some a friend of ours that has a son a daughter that are in the same class as John and Jack at school. John is very smitten with Grace and they are very cute together. Stay tuned-We are headed to Disney this weekend with the same family, so there are definately going to be a lot of pictures soon. We can't wait!!

Trip to ATL

So, we decided since Jeff had a four day weekend, that we would take a trip to Atlanta. Hey, it's only four hours away. So we heard that the Children's Museum was fun and that the Aquarium was fun also. On Saturday, we decided to head to the Children's Museum. It wasn't as great as we had hoped and was kind of like a big play area with no real organization. The boys seemed to like it, but were busy jumping around from one thing to the next. As always, it was hard to get a picture because they didn't stay still enough. After a really good nap we hit one of the malls, but were not very impressed. Jack and John were because they got a cookie. On Sunday, we got up early and headed to the Aquarium. It's the largest in the world. We had a good time and the boys really liked seeing all of the fish. The first set of pictures are from the Aquarium and then the museum. We then decided to just drive home after the aquarium so that we could get a good nights sleep. The first night, Jack and John slept together and Jack fell off the bed twice so then he got in bed with mommy. He did not give me a whole lot of room, so I didn't sleep well.
Overall, it was a pretty good trip.

Too much excitement to sit still

Rockin' out!!

So Jeff decided to buy Guitar Hero as a "family gift". I was a little skeptical, but all the boys seem to like it. Jack is getting into the drums and John loves rockin' out on the guitar. I've tried a little of the singing, but my score hasn't been so good. I'm sure it's just because of my sore throat. When we get all the boys together (including Jeffrey), we might have ourselves the Ferguson version of the Jonas Bros.

Check out that rocker face!

The boys at school

Well, I haven't been able to take pictures in a while since we have all been sick. John and Jack decided to pass around a little virus that had all of us feeling crappy over the weekend. We are finally starting to feel better, so now trying to get pictures requires them standing still for a moment. I did want to make sure I got pictures of John and Jack with their new shoes. Granddaddy decided they would like police style Sketchers that light up. They are pretty cute and John and Jack really like them. They like to jump around to see all the lights.

Christmas '08

Since the boys were awake at 6:30a this morning, I thought I would post some more pictures. Here are some from this past Christmas. It was kind of a hectic time since we had just moved to Rucker. We managed to get up the small tree and try and make things as normal as possible. Also, we didn't have Jeffrey this year for Christmas, so it just wasn't the same.

They liked their race track .

We made John pose with his gifts.

Giving it a try!!

Ok, I've talked about starting this for a while. Here we go...
We are getting settled into "Rucker" life, which means, we are really bored. I don't have any recent pictures, so I am posting some from the Steelers game. It was Jeff's first Steeler's game and he was super excited. We didn't even mind that it was 30 degrees outside. We had a really good time even though they lost, but hey they are still in the playoffs!

We are waiting in traffic and Jeff was showing some spirit.

We got some really good, close-up pictures with the zoom lens. You would never know we were in the nose bleed section.
